This was a perfect way for the public, students and others to learn about A.A. There where approximately 5 people attending this open meeting in the churchs basement. The meeting area was arranged with tables and chairs facing a dais, which had a panel of nine current and life long Alcoholics Anonymous members.
The topic of this A.A meeting was to show the general public stories of former alcoholics, who have stay sober over many years with the help of the Alcoholics Anonymous. An unnamed member started by explaining that basically A.A. is to carry our message of recovery to the alcoholic seeking help.
